Opeyemi Philip Oyeyipo, known as Jiriam, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on the 28th of March, 2003, in Kwara state. He grew up in the Surulere suburb of Lagos Nigeria and later on, moved to Ikorodu where he encountered some life experiences according to the lyrics in some of his songs.

Jiriam ventured into music because he found it as the most beautiful way to share his personal experiences and also communicate with people without feeling shy or embarrassed about it.

He started his music Journey in his secondary school days at the age of 12 by just writing songs but never shared it publicly due to fear of criticism and being mocked by his peers.

He only started sharing his songs to the world in the year 2023 after he moved to Australia where he felt far from any pressure.
